Community Involvement
The CPI Charity Committee is made up of strictly employees. Meeting monthly, they work on charity projects and review new interests and charities that need help. Over the past few years, CPI has forged partnerships to help assist local groups with financial, as well as volunteer time.
Do the Right Thing
Three times a year children from the Charlotte-Mecklenburg area, on the basis of their exemplary behavior and attitude, are nominated by firefighters, police officers, teachers, and the public. Each quarter, ten nominees are chosen to receive a Do the Right Thing award. Because of CPI's relationship with the Carolina Panthers the ceremony is held at Bank of America Stadium once a year. The children are treated to a visit from the TopCats Cheerleaders and often one of the Panthers players. CPI is proud to be a partner and sponsor of the Do the Right Thing program for over 6 years. >> Nominate a student. |

Police Explorers "Christmas Project"
30 years ago retired deputy police chief Glen Mowrey started delivering food & presents to families in need. Now a county-wide charity event, the Christmas Project helps out over 600 families at Christmas time. CPI sponsors and volunteers each year for the toy and food drive and delivery. |
