NOTICE TO ALL R2/S1 CUSTOMERS BEGINNING MARCH 11th 2007

August 8, 2005
, Congress passed the Energy Policy Act of 2005. This Act changed the time change dates for Daylight Saving Time in the U.S. Beginning in 2007, DST will begin on the second Sunday in March and end the first Sunday in November. The Secretary of Energy will report the impact of this change to Congress. Congress retains the right to resume the 2005 Daylight Saving Time schedule once the Department of Energy study is complete.
The R2/S1 systems update for Daylight Savings automatically. However, your system has been hard-coded to change on the first Sunday in April, and not the 2nd Sunday in March. Unfortunately there is no current fix for this, and we recommend that you hold off attempting to make any changes to the system for the 2 week period that Daylight Savings has been moved by. The system will automatically update as normal on the first Sunday of April. We apologize for the inconvenience and encourage you to call Customer Care with any questions or concerns.

To set the System Time:
- Enter the programming menus by pressing 9 + System Master Code.
- Prese 020
- Enter the correct time in 24-hour format, military time (for example: 17:00 for 5:00 PM or 08:15 for 8:15 AM), then press #.
- Press * + 00 + # to exit the programming menus.
If your master code was 1110, you would enter 9, 1110, 020, 1700, #, *00#
to change the time to 5:00 PM.
To set the System Date
- Enter the programming menus by pressing 9 + System Master Code.
- Press 021
- Enter the current date as 6 digits (mm/dd/yy), then press #.
- Press * + 00 + # to exit the programming menus.
If your master code was 1110, you would enter 9, 1110, 021, 020507, #, *00#
to change the date to Feb 2nd, 2007.
