CPI Security is once again named one of the Best Employers in North Carolina.
Last Thursday, Business North Carolina (BNC) recognized CPI Security and dozens of other companies as one of the best employers in the state at its annual gala in Greensboro. The Best Employers in North Carolina is a survey and awards program that identifies and recognizes the state’s best employers.
“I always wanted CPI to look and feel like a family business both for our employees and customers. We know that if we take care of our employees, they will take care of our customers. Then, everybody wins.”
CEO and Founder of CPI Security, Ken Gill
CPI Security has made the list of Best Employers in North Carolina eight out of the last nine years. The company’s on-site fitness facility, sustainable practices, tuition assistance, and benefits package contributed to its recognition of being a great place to work. The award also commends CPI Security for keeping work fun with games and TVs throughout breakrooms, holiday-themed parties and luncheons, office contests, and raffles.
“One of the most important challenges employers face today is finding good, quality employees and keeping them. Having programs and benefits like those represented on this list is a good way to do both.”
President of BNC, Ben Kinney
Employees find that working at CPI Security comes with plenty of rewards, in addition to competitive pay and benefits. Employees are celebrated each year at annual events, and top performers join the President Leadership Club. After 10 years of service, CPI employees even get a Rolex watch! The perks incentivize employees to work hard and make working at CPI Security fun, exciting, and rewarding.
Best Companies Group manages the process of identifying the best companies to work for, and BNC publishes the list. Kinney says results are based on polls from employees and employers. The polls include questions about dozens of topics, from recruiting practices to recognition programs.
“The Best Employers in North Carolina program is a great way to recognize some of the state’s top businesses to work for and at the same time provide organizations with valuable employee feedback,” Kinney said. “The awards gala is a really fun and cool way to celebrate those companies’ achievements- especially after the past year.”
