The owners of Arkay Beauty Supply in Charlotte, N.C. count on CPI Security to protect and stay in touch with their store.  

Demeata Watson and Lee Brown say they switched to CPI Security from another security provider because of faster response times and the convenience of an all-in-one app.  

“It’s much easier [having] one app for everything,” Brown said. “CPI was great during installation, walking us through everything.” 

Watson and Brown say they use their CPI inTouch® app daily to help them stay in the know with what’s going on at their business.  

“We use it [the inTouch app] day in and day out,” Brown said. “To monitor the cameras, arm and disarm the system.” 

“I’ve had to go back and most recently review the camera to see when employees were checking out or not checking out, so we are being honest with our labor keeping,” Brown said.  

One of their favorite CPI Security products is their under-counter panic button. It came in handy when an unruly customer would not leave the store. All they had to do was press the panic button and CPI Security got the police to the store, without the customer knowing anyone called for help.  

“We’re in a different era right now, so having a panic button helps our staff feel more comfortable,” Watson said.
